Timing of judging and awards ceremony

Judging will begin to take place in May 2011, as soon as all entries have been processed and read by the judges. A shortlist for each award will be published in the beggining of June after the judging day and all entrants will be notified of the shortlist.

All judges will sign non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements before they begin judging the entries.

Judging will then take place in two stages:

Stage One: online entries and short-list

The judges will have access to the written submissions and the supporting material - both mandatory and optional. This is why it is so important that you submit a well-written entry and the correct supporting evidence. The evidence you submit is the only and final evidence that will accompany your submission throughout the judging process and may be used in the audio-visual sequences at the Awards' ceremony, so it is very important that you send good quality illustrations, photographs, video files or examples of marketing material, etc.

The results will produce the short-list of entries that will be put forward to the second-stage, plenary session. All entrants are notified of the results of the first stage in June.

Stage Two: judges meet in plenary session

The aim of the plenary session is to review and vote on final positions for all the entries which have been put forward from Stage One.

In the plenary session judges will discuss the entries and the supporting evidence before they vote, and the results will be announced at the Awards' ceremony on 21 September, 2011.
