City A.M. launched the City A.M. Awards to celebrate London’s financial and business community and its most successful individuals and firms. We will soon be launching the 2012 awards.

The City A.M. Awards look at a broad range of sectors, including banking, law, accounting, fund management and trading, among others, with the aim of singling out the highest achieving businesses, teams and individuals as well as the most promising new kids on the block.

In 2011 an illustrious panel of judges scrutinised the entries and voted for them privately to arrive at final placings. The winners and finalists were honoured at a night of celebration at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel - the official venue partner for the Awards. It was an exceptional and exciting evening. At a time when everyone else may be bashing capitalism, City A.M. identifed and celebrated those businesses and individuals who are re-inventing the City and, in doing so, helping to take the economy out of recession and back to growth.

In 2011 City A.M. Awards once again regained the support of Saxo Bank, as headline sponsor, and of other sponsors, such as British Airways, Color Co. and GFT,  keen to continue supporting the Awards to raise the profile of the businesses, teams and individuals in the vanguard of a resurgent City and greater London.
